The Mums & Dads (MaDs) Club provides networking opportunities for parents working at the University of Lincoln to get together and share their experiences of being a working parent, meet other parents and gather information related to maternity/paternity and shared parental leave
The MaDs Club is a supportive and inclusive network of parents and parents-to-be with shared interests and responsibilities. The Club offers informal peer support and an open environment for discussions around topics such as managing the transition back to work and the trials and tribulations of 'balancing' work and family in both academic and professional support roles. The main aim is to foster stronger relationships across the University of Lincoln, as well as provide parents with relevant information regarding HR policies and procedures around being a working parent. We hope our MaDs network will grow beyond our 'drop-ins', as colleagues establish their own networks and friendship groups. All mums and dads are welcome, including mums- and dads-to-be and grandparents.
The MaDs 'drop-in' coffee club meets on the third Wednesday of every month (12-2pm) at different venues across the campus. Check our Events page to find out where the next meeting is, and come along and join us!
Coffee and tea are provided. Please feel free to bring your lunch!
