The LGBTQI+ staff network is open to all members of the LGBTQI+ community. It provides a space where staff can discuss LGBTQI+ issues
We are in the early stages of establishing this network, but our plans are for the network to provide a space for meeting other LGBTQI+ staff, discussing policies that affect LGBTQI+ staff and offer a space where we can co-ordinate and share information about events like Lincoln Pride, LGBTQI+ History Month and other relevant local and university events.
The group welcomes all individuals who work for the University who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and/or Transgender (the "+" sign is an umbrella term to represent minority gender identities and sexual orientations).

Michael has been at Lincoln since 2014, first as a PhD student, now as a lecturer. He’s a trans man, with extensive experience of volunteering and researching with LGBTQI communities. Michael lives with his partner Matt, and their cat, Oscar. Staff profile
